Our Instructors & Staff Members

Our staff members have spent many years devoted to pursuing excellence in their field and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as instructors and trainers.

Through extensive training, certification and dedication, our staff has attained mastery in their fields and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to our members. Here are a few of Total Woman Health Studio's staff members:

Hollis   (Owner/Aerobic Instrucor/Personal Trianer)
Certifications: AFAA Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Exercise, Body Pump & Executive Kickboxing.

Hollis has been in the fitness industry for 32 years as a personal trainer, group exercise instructor, group exercise coordinator and facility owner. She has worked at Total Woman for the last 24 years and has owned it for the past 14 years. She also has her own Step Aerobics video and has competed in the Fitness America competition.

Robin Cossette  (Certified Personal Trainer)
Certifications: AFFA, ACE, IFPA Certified Personal Trainer Robin has been here at Total Woman Health Studio for 19 years as a personal trainer and water aerobics instructor. Robin started here at Total Woman as a member and had great success - so she decided to pursue personal training so she could help others achieve their fitness goals. Robin came up with the "Biggest Loser" contest to help members stay motivated to reach their personal goals. She loves it here at Total Woman.

Diane Katz  (Yoga Instructor)
Diane began her professional life as an activewear clothing designer, focusing on apparel for the skier, running, tennis and fitness industries. Among the manufacturer's that she worked for during her 40-plus year career were White Stag, Nike, Reebok and Helly Hansen. Currently her designing has taken a more artistic focus, featuring fashions created from her own hand-dyed silk fabrics. Check out her website:

While pursuing apparel design, Diane got involved in her own fitness, focusing on running and aerobics, and eventually that path led to yoga. Soon she found herself delving deeper into her yoga practice eventually becoming an instructor. As a Yogafit trained instructor with a Level 4 Certification, and Senior, Pre-natal Yoga, and other specialized trainings, Diane has been leading classes since 2005. Currently she teaches Pilates, Step Aerobics and has credentials as an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer.

Jen Kimbel  (Group Exercise Instructor)
Hi, my name is Jen Kimbel and I have been a licensed ZUMBA Instructor since 2011 and a Certified Insanity Instructor since 2014. Combining fitness and fun is one of my biggest passions in life. Being someone that has struggled with her weight her whole life, finding something enjoyable to help me stay in shape has been a necessity. Through hard work, dedication, diet and exercise I have managed to lose 114lbs so far and I am still going. If my story can motivate and inspire others on their journey to achieve their fitness goals then I have done my job.

Debra Chase  (Group Exercise)
Presently I am certified through levels 1, 2 & 3 with Yogafit. I have been certified through Safex for yoga and Pilates. I have taken many yoga workshops through source Yoga and also while attending the Idea Fitness conventions including one with Rodney Yee. i have attended the Idea Fitness convention twice, one in Las Vegas and once in San Diego.

I am certified to teach PiYo and I have also been certified through the "Y" to teach Pilates. I just recently attained an Associates Degree in Paralegal studies from T.C.C. and am very excited to start a new career in that field and to continue my journey with Yoga.

Amanda Pantoia  (ZUMBA Instructor)
I have been taking ZUMBA classes since I was 13 years old. I loved it so much that I became an instructor and have been teaching ever since. I am currently a college student at Pierce College. One day I hope to become a veterinarian.

Jennifer Smith  (YogaFit Instructor)
Jennifer began her professional life at TrueBlue, Inc. in 1998. Currently she holds a position as Risk Manager for the largest industrial staffing firm in the U.S. After too many years sitting at a desk, it was beginning to affect her physically and she sought out avenues of fitness for relief. It wasn't long before she found her answers in yoga. She discovered there to be multiple benefits, not only the physical, but the mental and spiritual as well. Yoga has become a way of life.

While pursuing this yoga journey, she decided to share this experience with others, and so her experience as an instructor began. Her passion for yoga and helping people were the perfect match for this next step in life. As a yogaFit trained instructor with a Level 4 Certification,Senior, Kids yoga and other specialized trainings, Jennifer has been leading classes since 2012. She teaches Vinyasa (flow) style yoga, matching breath and movement, for all fitness levels. Currently she teaches at the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap counties and Total Woman Health Studio.

Ann Wiley  (Zumba Instructor)
Ann's weight loss journey began early in 2010. She was suddenly having to un-tag herself from a number of facebook photos. She knew she had gained weight, but those 10 pounds she had promised to lose each year had now turned into over 40 pounds. After seeing the photos online, she decided to stop promising to lose the extra weight and take action to get rid of it once and for all.

Ann joined Weight Watchers in January of 2010 and by October had stripped away 26 pounds. She was successful in meeting her goal and became a lifetime member, but then suddenly hit a plateau. Changing her eating habits had helped, but she needed to amp up her exercise routine.

Ann began taking classes at a local fitness center and was encouraged by a friend to try Zumba. after one class, she was hooked. The latin rhythms and music kept her motivated as she began to shed inches and pounds again. Through Zumba, Ann found you could have fun and still get in a high-cardio workout. After a year of being a zumba student, Ann decided to lead the Zumba party and received ler license in February 2012. Since becoming an instructor, Ann has continued her weight loss journey and has gotten rid of a total of 46 pounds.

Ann continues to follow the Weight Watchers program. Daily, she also finds joy in all things fitness because of both the physical and emotional benefits it offers.
